CDA presently offers a monthly compilation of property transfers in West Virginia’s Jefferson, Berkeley.

The compilation comes in three versions:

1. The first version contains the buyer's name, and address (when available), the district or town the property is in, the subdivision, the lot number or description, the seller's name, the recorded date and the sale price.

2. The second version contains all the information in the first version plus the amount of the mortgage and the mortgagee (on properties with a mortgage).

3. The third version contains the buyer's name and address (when available), the district or town the property is in, the subdivision, the lot number or description, the sellers name, the recorded date, and the sale price. This version does not include vacant land sales, commercial sales or mortgage information.

Version 1 and 2 will be broken down into three categories: home transfers – vacant land transfers – commercial transfers. Each category will be sorted by district/town – then by subdivision – then by seller.

The lists clearly show current trends for land and home prices in the county and can be used to show comparable prices for the most recent sales, not sales from 6 months to one year ago.

Each month, this information will become available from the respective county clerk’s office shortly after the data entry is complete.

Included with each regular subscription are quarterly cumulative reports for sales. Included with each mortgage subscription are quarterly cumulative mortgage reports.
